  • Proximity to the Train: We are one of the closest neighborhoods in town to the train station.
  • Proximity to the Highway: We are uniquely situated where our residents enjoy an easy commute to I-684 as well as a reasonable commute to the Taconic State Parkway. Most neighborhoods only have easy access to one or the other, while we satisfy both.
  • Proximity to Elementary School: Our elementary school is located right in our backyard. This is not the case for many other homeowners in town.
    • School Bus: Most of our children get picked up right in front of our homes. This is due to the great layout of our neighborhood. Some other students have a long walk or have to be driven to their bus stop each and every day.
  • Proximity to Stores/Shopping: There are many options right around the corner. In fact, a local shopping center is actually located right here in Lake Casse at Baldwin Lane and Route 6.
  • Proximity to the Putnam County Bike Path: We are fortunate to have that come through our neighborhood as well.
  • Proximity to Ambulance and Fire Dept Services: Our emergency response times are usually very short as we are close to the Mahopac Fire Dept.
  • Proximity to Carmel Police: Same is true here. The response time for our calls for assistance is very short.
  • Proximity to Highway Dept: If there is a safety or road hazard, we will get a quick response from the Highway Dept as well. We are right around the corner from the Highway Dept and they plow our roads promptly.
  • Proximity to Town Services: The town hall, with all the services we may need, is just minutes away.
  • Proximity to Hospital: We are closer to Putnam Hospital than most other local neighborhoods in town.

Last, but certainly not least, lake rights: We have a beautiful lake and beach for boating, fishing, swimming as well as a playground. (Our lake board does a great job in so many ways and is a vital asset to us) Additionally, we have a clubhouse for our residents to host parties.

Not only is Lake Casse a beautiful, peaceful and safe place to live, but Lake Casse also has many other lifestyle benefits each resident has come to appreciate that other communities lack.
